Ear Drama...

What girl doesn't have drama in her life? Even Maggie, being a whopping 21 months old, has drama. Maggie's drama is her ears.  She has been battling ear infections for almost a year. She has been getting ear infections so regularly, that when her name is called at the doctor's office, she gets up from my lap, follows the nurse, and steps immediately on the scale. She waits patiently for the nurse to take her temperature, then gets off the scale, and follows her into a waiting room.  She is no dumby. She has this doctor thing down.  In late January, we saw Dr. Ehrhard.  He confirmed that she needed tubes and that she could not hear due to all the fluid that was behind her ear. So, yesterday, February 6, 2013, Maggie got her tubes. She did a great job and today is back to her normal, cheerful self. Bye-bye ear infections (hopefully!!!)

Maggie is waiting patiently to go back. She has her best buddy with her, Dougie.
