Halloween 2012

I love Halloween and dressing up. To celebrate the Halloween weekend, we went to a party at the house of one of our freinds. The kids had a blast going through the "Haunted Woods" and watching movies on the outdoor movie screen. The adults had a great time enjoying beverages and some adult conversation! CC and Craig even came away with the Prettiest Costume and Best Male Costume! Craig and I were Bruce and Kris Jenner, which was hilarious. Craig played his part wonderfully, and my mom now thinks that I need to dye my hair black and get it cut short. Check us out!

Another favorite Halloween acitvity is carving our Halloween pumpkins. During Maggie's nap the kids did a great job carving their pumpkins from scratch with only a little help from mom (Noah still REFUSES to get the pumpkin insides out!).



And finally, the big night arrived. CC had a Repunzel outfit that she was going to wear up until Halloween morning where she went to school as a cheerleader. She was a cheerleader Halloween night as well. Maggie was also going to be Repunzel, but when CC changed her mind, I put Maggie in a warm (but too small) frog costume that was Noah's, and we went on our way. Noah was the only one who did not change his mind, and stayed with the IU football player. Maggie was in no mood to cooperate. I tried to get lots of pictures of the kids before we left for Kim's, but no such luck. When we got to Kim's she perked right up, and we finally got a few good ones of her and all the kids. CC and Noah had fun trick or treating with the other neighbor kiddos, and I enjoyed chatting with the gals passing out candy.  Another succesful Halloween in the books! Here's to Halloween 2012~
